Let’s create a landing page with Leadpages! With easy to use templates, this can potentially be done in 10 minutes! How exciting is that? What’s the last thing you did that took just 10 minutes?
Leadpages offers two different template options to use, either the standard templates or drag and drop templates.
Get It Together
Gather together everything you need, this will allow you to efficiently create your page.
Do you have your copy in hand?
Media to add?
Great, let’s create a landing page
What type of landing page would you like to create? Are you looking for a sales page, opt-in page, are you promoting a webinar? They have all those and much more, do a quick search to narrow down your options.
With your template selected, now go through the template and remove anything that you know you will not be needing. If you hover over the little gear in the left-hand corner and click it will bring that section up in the menu on the side. It will be the layout. Your able to select if you would like the section to be visible.
Work your way down the page, clicking the gear to bring the section layout up in the menu. This will allow you to add photos or change background color.
To change the text simply click and add your copy. How easy-peasy is that? With all things, you need to use it in order to be efficient. If this is your first time out of the gates you will need to set aside some time to play with the workflow of the templates.
The standard templates are a bit simpler and do not have as many widgets that can be added. They are more of what you see is what you get.
I created
I created an example Opt-In Page for a free eBook. The eBook is going to be 7 Days to Better Time Management, that's pretty catchy, right? Here is a quick video so you can see what can be created in 10 minutes.
Hey, Busy Lady! Let’s get started with Leadpages. Leadpages is a landing page software solution. I am guessing that you are already familiar with landing pages, if not check out my earlier post on What is a Landing Page.
Leadpages is an online software tool that allows you to create awesome looking landing pages.
In addition to pages, Leadpages also offers pop-up forms, social media links, text messages and email links. It is a simple interface that lets you collect lead and customer contact information.
Integration is Key
Integration is key with Leadpages as it does not store data it only gathers data. Leadpages offers a number of third-party software integrations that they have already established in the account settings. They integrate with third-party software companies that offer Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Email Marketing, and Webinars. Leadpages also provides an option for Other software, however, it comes with a warning that it may not work.
Gather, Not Hold?
Let’s step back to a point I mentioned above. What does it mean to only gather information and not hold information? Have you signed up to attend a webinar before? Leadpages was possibly the software used for you to type in your contact information to register for the webinar. Leadpages is gathering it all up. It would be the integration in the background to the webinar program or email marketing software that would actually store or save and hold your contact information.
Bit by Bit
We will tackle Leadpages in bite-size pieces. Because I assume that everyone is similar to myself and 300 words are all that I can take in.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. See you next week.

This is my why! For some reason sharing my why with the world makes me feel a little uneasy. It took me a bit of time to put a finger on what was causing this uneasiness. I should have known, its what so many of us struggle with.
The fear. You know that terrible four letter word that can put us into procrastination.
Here it goes
My name is Michele. Before anything else, I'm a wife and mother. How I support my family is helping health, life and mindset coaches that have online coaching practices. You know your solopreneur trying to be everything to everyone. Those are the people I choose to serve.
Why serve them?
Caring for yourself isn't always easy and if you're new to this practice working with a coach will guide and support you through this discovery process. Helping these coaches with websites, email marketing or executive assistant work, allow them more time to serve others.
Before my journey began as a VA…
Prior to starting Miss Task, I worked for a corporation. Corporations are great, but I felt it was time for a change. I wanted to personally feel as if I was making an impact on my customers' lives. At the end of the day, it was rare that I had the feeling that I truly was making an impact.
What gives me this feeling of impact
Doing the very best job to my ability for each and every customer that I serve. To know that they trust that I'll do the job with loving kindness and as good if not better than they could do the task themselves.
I want to bring a little more joy and a little less stress.
I want to help to take those tasks that give my customers a little more time in the day to serve others. To be what they actually would like to be, a coach. Not a WordPress administrator, an email marketing genius or an email reading queen.
To share my knowledge and passion for software and organization. To be a trusted and reliable presence in the day-to-day grind. Because I know I can.
I would love for you to share your insight in the comments below!
