I'm not sure about you. But growing up I was taught to encourage others and to downplay my own accomplishments. While I do believe encouraging others is important, I also believe you need to be your own cheerleader.
Be Proud Of Your Accomplishments
I’m sure you’re with me on this one, encouraging and cheering on others brings joy to leadership. But here’s the thing, is it okay to downplay your own success?
Let me ask you, is it really prideful to be proud of your accomplishments?
But what if it simply means that you believing in yourself when you cheer on your own accomplishments?
So which is it? What perspective do you want to look at it from?
Now, this is important I feel you’re believing in yourself when you pause and take the time to cheer on your accomplishments!
Why Be Proud, You Ask
C’mon Friend, you and I both know not everyone achieves the goals that they set. Heck, not everyone will even set a goal.
When you set goals and achieving them, that can be hard. Not everybody has the ability to follow through and take the goal to the finish line.
That can be extremely hard when you run an online business.
So why not be your own cheerleader?
I challenge you to Be Your Own Cheerleader
So what do you do when you have no one to cheer you on?
You guessed it, be your own cheerleader!
When you have no one to build you up and encourage you to keep going when running an online business feels really challenging. It's okay. Be your own cheerleader.
When your family and friends may not get the whole online business world and hold you down when you should be soaring. Well, you need to be your own cheerleader.
Cheer, Friend when nobody else does.
Be The Voice
Here’s the bottom line you need to make sure that you believe in yourself.
You need to make sure that you're being confident, and you need to be your own cheerleader in your business and in your life.
Because I can tell you, you're not going to always have that encouraging voice in your ears, you need to make sure that you're that encouraging voice.
Take time to celebrate the accomplishments, be your own cheerleader.
The problem is online entrepreneurs rarely take time to slow down and pop the bubbly and celebrate.
Instead, they move quickly to the next goal all that hurry without cheering will drain your energy.
Do You?
Hey, I throw no stones here, I speak first hand. I get it. Taking time to step back and truly celebrate accomplishments. Who has time for that?
Then it finally dawned on me, I was not taking the time to really be my own cheerleader.
Fortunately, there’s a simple solution be your own cheerleader.
But there’s a catch, you need to cheer on the little things too not just the big thing!
Every day should have at least one win, one thing to cheer. It's critical and it's important.
Today, I hope that you take the time to be your own cheerleader.
